Join Our School PTA

Let’s grow our school community! The Cayuga Heights Elementary School (CHES) PTA creates connections, supports our children, and amplifies your voice. We encourage all members of the CHES school community - parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and grandparents - to find ways to get connected and contribute to the success of our students.

This year, all memberships are free. Sign-up using our online membership form. All new and returning members must (re)register, since we need to update our roster each year. Thank you!

Getting Involved

Education | Community | Advocacy

At Cayuga Heights, we believe that together we can ensure all children have equitable access to a quality public education in our school. You are encouraged to get engaged in our school community in whichever ways work best for you and your family.

“There’s no right way to PTA.” However you choose to engage, our school community will be grateful. You can attend meetings, volunteer your time, offer ideas, lead programs, donate funds, and more. Your imagination is the limit - and our Board and your fellow members are here to help. Benefits for getting involved, include:

  • Getting Connected—Meet parents and caregivers, connect with teachers, learn what’s happening in our school and how you can take part.

  • Finding Support —Ask questions, share concerns, build rapport, and discuss parenting and school-related issues on your mind.

  • Helping Your Child Succeed—Stay informed and get involved in your child’s education, it’s the greatest predictor of student success proven by three decades of research.

  • Developing Your Skills —Gain valuable experiences and personal confidence. Learn something new or put your skills & talents to good use for a good cause.

  • Sharing Your Thoughts—Guide the development of educational and social programs in our school. Exchange ideas, make suggestions, and advocate for change.

  • Making Positive Change—Take action on issues and help develop solutions. By coming together, our community has huge potential to create positive change for our school.

  • Discovering Resources—Benefit from our many school events & programs designed to enhance the lives of our parents, caregivers, teachers, staff, and students.
