CHES PTA Board Recruitment
Nominate yourself or others ASAP – ideally by Friday, May 3rd
The CHES PTA needs a Vice-President and Treasurer for the 2024-2025 school year!
Do you appreciate the support and programming that the PTA provides for CHES and the school community, and want to help ensure that continues? Are there different events, programs, or funding priorities that you would like to see the PTA take on? Do you want to collaborate with the school administrators and teachers, and play a larger role in creating the type of environment in which your children learn and play? If so, the PTA needs you!
There are two positions on the PTA board that will be open starting on July 1, 2024: Vice-President and Treasurer. Board position terms last for two years. (Vice President Maureen Carroll will step into the President role for the 2024-2025 School Year and Secretary Lizzie Juaniza-Saso will remain in her current position for the 2024-25 school year.) You do not need to have been previously involved in the PTA to serve on the board, and in fact new ideas are greatly appreciated! Each year’s board has a new opportunity to take the PTA in a new direction. Serving on the board is a highly rewarding experience and a great way to meet many parents that you might not otherwise know.
